Description

Measuring principle

• Air is compressible. Liquids are (almost) incompressible. RLM 01_LR doses the coolant through the expansion tank in very small (volume) steps.
• Each dosing step leads to an increase in pressure in the test object.
• The measuring arrangement records the change in volume and the increase in pressure.
• The measurement error of the RLM is 01_LR
  • ≤± 3% (related to the real residual air volume)
  • << 1% (related to the ratio of the volume of the test object to the residual air)

Measurement process

• Measuring arrangement [cooling system/thermal management system] must have cooled down to rule out undesired temperature effects. [Tmax 30°C].
• Measuring arrangement [cooling system/ thermal management system] is completely filled.
• RLM 01_LR meters the coolant mixture into the expansion tank.
• At the same time, the increase in pressure is measured.
• The measuring process takes place automatically and is completed within 2 minutes.

Service

• It can be operated either via an (optional) industrial PC 10" touch screen or via a customer computer.

Software

• RLM 01_LR software is part of the scope of delivery and is license-free.

Access rights

• ADMIN can create and execute test routines (via user software).
• USER can only execute check routines. Test routines run automatically.
• USER has no possibility to intervene in the test routines.

Documentation

• The measured values ​​can be documented in pdf format. Output via USB port.
